As a result of Wild Justice’s legal challenge of last year and recent pokes for updates, DEFRA announced this on Friday https://www.gov.uk/government/news/defra-sets-out-review-into-releasing-gamebirds-on-protected-sites

DEFRA won’t have to wait very long for our considered response.
